Glowing Skin & Matte Lips

Hey Guys!

I was recently inspired by a look I came across on Pinterest of the beautiful Candice Swanepoel...

Here is a tutorial on creating a similar look from start to finish!

To start, we want to create a very natural yet glowing and gold complexion. Mix tinted moisturizer with a gold liquid luminator. I used Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and Sun Beam by Benefit.

Buff into the skin using a kabuki brush and apply an under eye brightener...

Apply more of the Sun Beam along the tops of the cheeks, down the center of the nose and chin. Set what you've done so far with a bronzer, I used Too Faced Chocolate Soleil...

Next up, apply your favourite blush or something that gives more of a natural flush. I used Dior Rosy Glow blush...

Just to add to the glow we've created so far, top it off with MAC Soft and Gentle highlighting powder - sweeping over the high points of the face...

Last step before eyes, eyebrows! I used Anastasia Brow Powder in Brunette...

Now for the eyes! Keeping Candice's look in mind, we want the eyes to be pretty minimal and bronzy...

1. Start with a cleaned primed eye lid.

2. Apply a light gold shadow all over the lid.

3. Apply a bronzy brown into the crease.

4. Apply a gold brow highlight.

5. Apply that same gold highlight into the tear duct.

6. Apply a very thin liquid line.

7. Apply mascara and false lashes.

8. Apply a soft brown along the lower lash line in just the outer corner.

Lastly, apply a matte red lipstick

There you have it - my take on this beautiful dewy, bronzed look! Here is a closer look at the finished product...
