Here is another step-by-step tutorial that I hope will help you out! This one is how to do a smokey eye in less then 7ish steps using less then 5ish products depending how you do it.
1&2. Apply a cream shadow, smudge stick, or creamy eyeliner all over your lid. I used Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil by Nars. This is what is giving the look that goldish forest green hue. You could use any colour you wish! To keep it dark and smokey I may stick with darker hues like a dark cranberry or chocolate brown. Using a product will act as a base or primer. Personally I still like to apply a primer on my lid as well.
3. Blend out the edges using a blending brush, pick up some black shadow to help you blend out. I used MAC brush #217 and a Too Faced shadow Smolder but any black shadow will do.
4&5. Use your smudge stick or whatever product you used as your base on the lid, and drag it along lower lash line and around your tear duct. Don't be afraid to bring it down quite a bit as we will be softening it up later on.
6. Line your upper and lower waterline with a waterproof liner, I used Perversion 24/6 Glide-On Pencil from Urban Decay - ultra matte black!
7. This is the fun part! You can correct all your errors and blend out your edges. A trick to do this, is using a foundation powder in a couple shades lighter then your complexion. Pick some up on a flat shadow brush and buff it into the edges of the shadow all around the eye. I also use this a brow highlight as well. I used Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Light Plus in this look.
Draw a liquid line or don't, whatever you prefer, pop on some lashes and ta-dah! How quick and easy was that!? Let me know if you have any follow up questions below in the comment section or private message mehere!
