Recently I have been going to hot yoga on the regular and I always feel like such a bum. So... I have tried to brainstorm some ideas on how I can still look semi-cute without looking completely dead but also not looking done up (not really a fan of dressing to the nines to go work out).
So these are some tips and tricks to feel a little more spruced up before heading out to work on your fitness!
1. I like to work out in a t-shirt. That's just how I have always worked out (probably the baller in me - during basketball practices and workouts I always wore a t-shirt). I'm not one for wearing cute workout tops - I've tried but I'm just way more comfy in a T. I have taken a bunch of old t-shirts and trimmed the arms off a bit to be more like a capped sleeve and cut a deep V neckline so you can see a bit of a cute sports bra peeking out!
Some trimming ideas...
If you have a super big one, make it a angled top and cut the front shorter and let the back hang down over your bum in a round shape, sort of like this...
Or... Fringe it up!
2. I like my hair to be wayyy out of my face, lots of options here. Cute braids, headbands, bandanas and messy buns. Check out some of these looks...
3. Glowing, clean, fresh skin! About a half-hour before I go to work out I like to clean my skin really well. I usually wash my face and then exfoliate to slough off dull skin. I also apply a nice luminating moisturizer, a brightening eye cream and a little lip balm (a great skin routine to do on a daily basis either way).

4. A little touch of waterproof mascara and your good to go! I don't suggest using waterproof mascara on a daily basis but once in a while never hurt anybody! Using it on a daily basis can cause lashes to become brittle and break over time.
