Tea = Energy and Good Health!

Hey Dolls,

So I have decided to give you a little run down on teas.  There are tons of different kinds and they all have their different benefits.  If you are looking for a tea with a lot of antioxidants try a White tea ("White tea, the rarest type of tea, come from young tea leaves that are picked before the buds have fully opened. The tea features a delicate, soft taste and light coloration. With a minimalist approach to processing, white tea leaves are simply steamed and dried, which keeps them closer to their natural state.").  A lot of people think Green tea has the most (and it does have a lot) but White Tea has more!

Herbal teas are a great thing to add into your daily diet.  Consuming a cup (or more) of Herbal tea a day will offer benifits such as...

Another thing that is great about herbal teas is that there are soo many yummy flavours to choose from.  I am sure some of you have heard of David's Tea, which unfortunately is not in Ottawa yet, but you can order from them online.  Davids Tea is a great place to pick up delicious flavours such as...

Sweet Dreams ("A chamomile dream. Getting enough sleep is the key to everything. You’ll have more energy. You’ll have more patience. Your jokes will be funnier. Everyone will love you. Which is where Sweet Dreams comes in. A delicious blend of sleep-inducing chamomile, lemongrass, hibiscus, licorice, lemon, orange and rose petals, it has everything you need to drift off into dreamland – and stay there all night long.") or...

Dulce and Banana ("Sip yourself happy. This dulce de leche inspired tisane is about as good as it gets. It’s delicate and restrained, but has enough body and sweetness to compete with dessert. That’s because this serene herbal mix of chamomile, lemongrass, lavender and rooibos is tricked out with a delicious hint of caramelized banana. What better way to keep you smiling all autumn long?").

They offer around 130 different kinds of teas ranging from Black tea to Pu'erh tea.  Also, they have some unbelievable deliciously desserty teas, that really satisfy a sweet tooth and are calorie free! Check 'em out!

Zen ("Tazo® Zen™ is created using select full-flavored, pan-fired green teas from China, long fabled for their legendary properties. These teas converge with lemon verbena leaves, lemongrass and spearmint leaves in a blissful state. This distinctive flavor is nearly impossible to express in words; it is best to simply experience its sweet, lingering taste.").  And...

Refresh ("Tazo® Refresh™ is made with Pacific Northwest mint leaves, prized for their intense flavors: hot peppermint, cool spearmint and a hint of tarragon. After Oregon’s Mt. Mazama erupted 7,700 years ago (leaving remains that would later become scenic Crater Lake), there was a spot high up in the Cascades Range where you could feel the warmth of the lava and the cool of the jet stream. Drinking a cup is sort of like that.").

*tea is also a great way to get your daily does of water, if your not a huge H20 fan, enhance your water with a delicious flavoured tea!
